2014-T6 aluminum is a copper-based alloy (AA2014) subjected to solution heat treatment and artificial aging (T6 temper), achieving tensile strength up to 483 MPa and yield strength of 414 MPa — making it one of the strongest aluminum alloys available for structural engineering.
The alloy offers excellent machinability and responds well to CNC turning, milling, and drilling. Its consistent microstructure — controlled by strict alloying of Cu (3.9–5%), Mn, Si, and Mg — ensures dimensional accuracy critical for aerospace frames, military components, and precision instruments.
All 2014-T6 aluminum supplied by Miandi Group meets AMS 2770, ASTM B209, EN 573-3, and GB/T 3880 standards. Our products are traceable with full mill certificates, chemical composition reports, and mechanical property test data, meeting the procurement requirements of Uzbekistan's state enterprises and international contractors.

Nowadays, the company's products have been widely used in many industries such as aviation, aerospace and military, automotive, and mechanical processing. With the enterprise spirit of continuous innovation and the courage to explore, Miandi has transformed from a simple raw material supplier into a high-tech enterprise integrating research and development, production, sales, and service.
Uzbekistan has been one of Central Asia's fastest-growing industrial economies since 2017. Under President Mirziyoyev's reform agenda, the country attracted over $12 billion in foreign direct investment into manufacturing and infrastructure between 2018 and 2023. The automotive sector, led by UzAuto Motors (formerly GM Uzbekistan) in Asaka, and the growing aerospace maintenance sector at Tashkent International Airport, have created consistent demand for high-strength aluminum alloys including 2014-T6 for structural components, engine brackets, and body panels.
Uzbekistan's state-owned Uzbekistan Airports enterprise manages 11 airports and is undergoing a major modernization program. The Tashkent Aircraft Repair Plant (TARP) and Uzbekistan Airways Technical (UAT) perform MRO operations on Airbus and Boeing fleets, requiring certified aerospace-grade aluminum such as 2014-T6 for structural repairs and component fabrication. Miandi Group's AS9100D certification positions it as a qualified supplier for these high-standard aviation procurement programs.
Uzbekistan Railways (O'zbekiston Temir Yo'llari) is investing heavily in high-speed rail corridors connecting Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, and Namangan. High-strength, lightweight aluminum alloys are integral to modern rail car bodies, bogie frames, and interior structures. The Tashkent–Andijan and Tashkent–Samarkand high-speed lines have spurred procurement of 2014-T6 aluminum plates and extrusions for rolling stock manufacturing and maintenance.
Uzbekistan is a significant natural gas producer and is expanding its renewable energy capacity — targeting 8,000 MW of solar and wind by 2026. Both the oil & gas sector (Uzbekneftegaz) and the new solar energy infrastructure projects require corrosion-resistant, high-strength aluminum for heat exchangers, pressure vessels, pipeline fittings, and solar panel mounting frames. 2014-T6 aluminum's combination of strength and machinability makes it a preferred material in these applications.
Tashkent's rapid urban expansion — including the New Tashkent City mega-project and the Tashkent City business district — has driven demand for architectural aluminum profiles, curtain wall systems, and structural aluminum components. While 6000-series alloys dominate architectural uses, 2014-T6 is increasingly specified for high-load structural connections, bridge components, and industrial building frameworks where superior strength-to-weight ratio is required.
Uzbekistan's industrial zones — including the Navoi Free Economic Zone, Jizzakh Special Economic Zone, and Tashkent Technopark — host a growing cluster of metal processing and CNC machining enterprises. These companies import 2014-T6 aluminum billets, plates, and rods to manufacture precision parts for export to Russia, Kazakhstan, and the EU. Miandi Group provides ready-to-machine 2014-T6 stock with guaranteed chemical composition and mechanical properties, reducing scrap rates and production downtime for Uzbek manufacturers.
Uzbekistan's government is prioritizing aerospace component localization. Domestic MRO facilities are expanding their 2014-T6 usage for structural repairs and new component fabrication, reducing dependence on imported finished parts.
Solar and wind farm construction across the Kyzylkum and Ustyurt plateaus is accelerating. Aluminum's corrosion resistance and light weight make 2014-T6 ideal for mounting structures in Uzbekistan's extreme temperature environments.
Uzbekistan's SEZs are attracting Industry 4.0-ready manufacturers who require tighter material tolerances. Demand for pre-cut, CNC-ready 2014-T6 aluminum stock with full traceability documentation is growing rapidly.
As a key node on China's Belt and Road Initiative, Uzbekistan is developing logistics hubs and intermodal terminals. Aluminum structural components for container handling equipment and terminal buildings represent a fast-growing procurement category.
UzAuto Motors is transitioning to electric vehicle platforms. 2014-T6 aluminum is being evaluated for EV battery enclosures, chassis subframes, and suspension components — markets expected to grow 40% by 2027 in Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan's flagship automotive manufacturer, UzAuto Motors, based in Asaka (Andijan region), produces over 200,000 vehicles annually. The plant's transition to newer platforms requires precision-machined aluminum components for engine mounts, transmission housings, and structural brackets. 2014-T6 aluminum rods and plates supplied by Miandi Group are being utilized by Tier-1 suppliers in the Asaka Industrial Zone for CNC-machined powertrain components, offering 30% weight savings over equivalent steel parts.
TARP, one of Central Asia's largest aircraft maintenance facilities, performs heavy maintenance checks on Uzbekistan Airways' Airbus A320 and Boeing 767 fleet. 2014-T6 aluminum is used in the fabrication of structural repair doublers, floor beam replacements, and custom tooling fixtures. Miandi's AS9100D-certified supply chain ensures full material traceability and compliance with EASA Part 145 and FAA 145 repair station requirements.
The 457 MW Sherabad Solar Power Plant, developed by ACWA Power and Total Eren, is one of Central Asia's largest solar installations. Aluminum alloy mounting structures — requiring high strength, corrosion resistance, and dimensional stability across temperature ranges from -20°C to +50°C — are a critical procurement category. 2014-T6 aluminum extrusions and plates are specified for primary structural elements of the tracking system frames, with Miandi supplying custom-cut profiles to local fabricators in the Surkhandarya region.
The Navoi FEZ hosts over 30 manufacturing enterprises, including companies producing mining equipment, industrial machinery, and export-oriented metal components. Resident companies in the FEZ import 2014-T6 aluminum billets and plates from Miandi Group for CNC machining of mining drill components, conveyor system parts, and custom industrial fixtures — leveraging Uzbekistan's competitive labor costs and the FEZ's tax incentives to serve regional markets in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.
